Trade website hosting and maintenanceLaunch is a date.
Reliability is a habit.
Growth is ongoing.

A trade website does not finish when it goes live. Forms must keep delivering, pages must remain secure and crawlable, and the content must evolve as services, evidence and customer demand change.

The quiet operational work that protects a public business asset.

After the launch photographs

The unnoticed work protects the visible work.

A beautiful homepage has little value when the enquiry form silently fails, the certificate expires, a careless update breaks mobile navigation or nobody notices important pages falling out of the index.

01

Secure delivery by default

HTTPS, restrictive browser policies, validated form handling and protected private routes are part of the product—not optional additions sold after launch.

02

Changes move through staging

Public-site work is built and checked away from production, then promoted after the relevant build and validation pass.

03

Backups match the asset

Website source, business records and private photographs require different recovery plans. A single vague promise to “back up the site” is not enough.

04

Maintenance includes relevance

Technical updates keep the site working. Ongoing search work keeps explanations, proof and internal links aligned with the business and real demand.

The working route

Keep the site useful after launch.

Maintenance combines operational reliability with controlled improvement. Neither should disguise the other.

  1. 01

    Monitor the public route

Availability, secure transport and important customer journeys are checked so a total failure is not left for a customer to discover.

  2. 02

    Protect enquiry delivery

Validation, bot controls, independent preservation and actionable failure records reduce the chance of a genuine lead disappearing silently.

  3. 03

    Release changes safely

Content and code changes are reviewed on staging, built, validated and then promoted without bundling unrelated work.

  4. 04

    Watch search health

Sitemaps, indexing evidence, crawl errors and important page changes are reviewed in context rather than chasing every temporary status.

  5. 05

    Refresh genuine evidence

New services, photographs, case studies and customer questions can strengthen existing pages when the material is real and useful.

  6. 06

    Keep an exit route

The business can receive the agreed public-site and business-record exports. Subscription services and live integrations are clearly distinguished from owned assets.

Quiet by design

Good maintenance is rarely dramatic.

It is a disciplined record of small checks, reversible releases and clear ownership. The goal is fewer surprises for the tradesperson and a consistently dependable route for the customer.

Honest boundaries

Strong work.
No magic dust.

01

Hosting is a service

The live forms, private workspace, integrations, monitoring, support and updates operate during the subscription and end when that service ends.

02

Owned assets remain owned

The domain, brand, copy, supplied photographs, Google accounts and customer records remain under the business’s control.

03

No invisible scope

Major redesigns, new integrations or substantial new service clusters are scoped separately rather than hidden inside the word maintenance.

Straight answers

Before you
make the move.

Is hosting included in the monthly service?

Yes. Hosting, monitoring, support and updates form part of the active TradeStead subscription at the agreed service level.

What happens if the website goes down?

The service includes operational monitoring and a defined response process. No provider can promise that infrastructure will never fail, so useful detection and recovery matter more than an absolute uptime claim.

Are content changes included?

The included level depends on the selected plan. Routine improvements and agreed ongoing search work are distinguished from a new integration, major redesign or substantial expansion.

What happens if I leave TradeStead?

You retain the customer-controlled assets described in the agreement and receive the agreed exports. The hosted forms, private workspace, integrations, monitoring, support and updates stop with the subscription.
